Community Update – Sunday 1st of August 2021
We wish to advise our valued customers, retailers and members of our community that a confirmed case of Covid-19 recently visited Pizza Capers Kenmore at Kenmore Village.

The individual was briefly at Pizza Capers on Friday 30th of July 2021 between 7:15pm and 7:25pm.

Pizza Capers Kenmore has now been listed as a ‘casual contact’ on the Queensland Health contact tracing and alerts webpage. If you have visited Pizza Capers Kenmore on Friday 30th of July at the relevant times you must do the following:

1.  Immediately travel by private transport directly to your home or accommodation and quarantine.
2. Get tested at your earliest opportunity.
3. Continue to quarantine until you receive a negative result.
4. Enter your details into the online Queensland Health contact tracing form.
5. Continue to monitor for symptoms, if you become symptomatic get tested and isolate until you receive a negative result.

We would like to let you know the steps we have taken following being advised of the ‘casual contact’ status of the Pizza Capers store.

Pizza Capers will undertake a deep clean and sanitisation of their outlet prior to re-opening. We have also performed a special touch point clean of all customer touch points and high traffic areas at the centre.

Kenmore Village will continue to co-operate with Queensland Health and do our part in protecting our customers, retailers and members of our community. We remind all visitors that masks are mandatory and that you must check-in via the QR codes provided.

Lockdown
The Greater Brisbane Area will be in lockdown until 4pm Sunday the 8th of August 2021. Should you require essentials, we are here to help.

Coles will be open during their normal trading hours to assist you with your needs. Several other stores will also be open for essentials in line with Government guidelines, however, individual trading times may vary.

Face Masks
In line with current Queensland Heath directives, face masks are mandatory to wear indoors while visiting Kenmore Village unless there is a valid reason not to do so. You are also required to carry a mask with you at all times when outside of your home.

Check In Qld app – Now Mandatory
The Queensland Government has mandated that checking-in with the Check In Qld app is now compulsory at retail businesses and Shopping Centres. Please check-in upon arrival at Kenmore Village, as well as with the individual business you visit while at the centre.

As a member of the community, our priority is to protect our retailers, employees, contractors, and the general public from the risks posed by illnesses and diseases.  Kenmore Village has developed an
Epidemic/Pandemic Policy and Procedures document that has been communicated to our staff and retailers.

Kenmore Village follows the advice of the Australian health authorities and applies the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene.  Kenmore Village has increased the routine cleaning of frequently touched hard surfaces.

We remind everyone to practice the following:

  1. Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.
  2. Maintain at least a 1.5 metre distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
  3. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, or shaking hands with others.
  4. Follow good hygiene and encourage others to do the same. (i.e. covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze and disposing of used tissues immediately).
  5. Stay home if you feel unwell to minimised risk to others.
  6. Stay informed of the latest news on the epidemic/pandemic and the risk factors associated (i.e. cities or local areas where the pandemic or epidemic is spreading widely, how the Infectious Disease is transmittable).
  7. If possible or necessary, you should self-isolate for the appropriate period as advised by Commonwealth Government authorities (i.e. by staying at home until you recover).
  8. Seek medical advice promptly and follow the directions of your local health authority.
